Upgraded to Windows 10, 1776x1000 resolution is now missing

Hi,

Updated my computer last night from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and I have replicated the settings as much as possible. I am using an AMD 380 via HDMI to a 1920x1080 Panasonic TV as a monitor. This setup was working fine on 8.1 and I had access to all resolutions but since updating to 10 I am missing quite a few, specifically 1776x1000 which I use to play games in windowed mode. My desktop is set to 1920x1080 with items on 150% and HDMI Scaling at 5% in CCC which again was ideal for Windows 8.1. I've had a look online and read that fiddling within CCC should make all resolutions available and changing my monitors properties from 59Hz to 60Hz should also fix the problem but so far nothing seems to have worked. I've been told I should create a custom resolution and use that but I don't want my computer to run in this resolution. I want the desktop to be 1920x1080 and the games in windowed mode to be 1776x1000

Any input is appreciated

Thanks for the reply,

To be totally honest I'm not quite sure how I managed to make that resolution appear in 8.1. I use that resolution to play multiple games at once in windowed mode (Hearthstone, Gwent, Town of Salem etc) and the option for it was avaliable in the game settings themselves. Some other resolutions are missing too as seen in the screenshot it just jumps from 1280x720 to 1600x900 when on 8.1 other options such as 1440x1050 were avaliable.

So you want your games to run at 1776x1000 but the desktop to run at 1080p?

I'm not sure why your 8.1 machine would have 1776x1000 as an option, thats a weird resolution I have never seen before, I doubt it would be available in in game settings. You could likely force a game to run at that resolution by setting a custom resolution in the games .ini or .cfg file, depending on the game.
