Upgraded XP to 7. HDD E & F drive not detected, can only see C & D.

I had Winows XP with my C,D,E&F HDD(40 GB each).
I upgraded it to Windows 7.
However to my surprise E&F drives are not detected now. I can only see C & D drive???
Please someone help.

Are these SATA drives or IDE? SATA is a much smaller cable, IDE are wide ribbon cables. You may have driver issues with your motherboard.

Find the make/model of your motherboard, lookup the win 7 drivers via the manufacturer's website.

Are they not detected in the bios, or just not in my computer?
You may have to add them yourself.
Go to administrative tools/computer management/storage/disk management

Are they just logical drives all on the same physical drive, or is each drive letter its own separate hard drive?
