upgrades for an amd A8

I have an pavilion g6 note book and upgraded the processor, A8 to A10 and I noticed their is a place on the mother board for a second chip the tie down is on the fan and heat sink tube leading to the processor, what goes their? or what can I put their,

Go to the HP web site & see which processors are specifically suported by them for the 'exact' model, Beyond the socket most OEM builders, (HP, Dell, Gateway, etc.) have bios' which limit what CPU's can be installed in their systems.

if you want to upgrade from an apu to an apu then you should buy the a10 7850k. and if you dont want an apu and have a good graphics card then you should take either fx 4300 or 6300
