Hey guys,

I have a MSI GT73VR and would like to know what I can upgrade to make it as fast as possible.

I currently have:

i7 6820HK 2.70GHz
GTX 1080 GDDR5X 8GB
DDR4 2400 64GB RAM - 1063 MHz Frequency
Windows 11 Home
Crucial MX300 1TB 3D NAND SATA M.2 (2280) Internal SSD - CT1050MX300SSD4 - READ - 2207.22 | WRITE - 1409.73
Samsung NVMe MZVPV512 SSD

Nothing physical really.

I'd play around with undervolting the CPU and GPU to extract the greatest performance within the allowed thermal/cooling capabilities. Basically applying negative voltage offsets to the CPU via XTU or similar software and the GPU via MSI Afterburner or similar software. In XTU you can also increase the boost duration, power limit, etc etc for the CPU as cooling allows.
