your cpu will be fine, i added a cooler so you can overclock it a bit higher, but if you plan to go higher than 4,2ghz, i suggest to get a fan and aim it at the vrm's (the black blocks and cylinders between the cpu and the io) because these will get hot.
a real cpu upgrade will be an i5 6600k or i5 4690k, but you will need a new motherboard as well(and for the 6600k you will need new ram too), and the gain will not be that much.
well the most feasible thing i could see you doing is swapping to a FX-8350 black edition for 150$ USD and then maybe getting like an MSI R9 380 4GB card for 220$ USD ofc dont forget you can also sell the components your replacing, probably not for all that much but who knows maybe you'd get something for them.

370$ is 350 Euros

if i got a AMD R9 390 8gb would my current CPU bottleneck?

not necessarily, sometimes yes, sometimes no, oc a bit and it will be less. but you will need a new psu to handle the 390, you can go for the 380x as well, just released fully unlocked tonga chip.

My PSU can surely handle a 390?

Thank you, i thought my PSU could handle it

you said you have a r9 390 so you want something better?
and are you trying to stick with amd or would you want intel as well?
