Hello,

Im looking for upgrades to my system, or recommendations for a new build since I got my build for 5 years and its slowly getting its issues. (Multiple attempts to POST)
Gaming does still work well on most games, but the newer AAA titles are also more becoming a challenge. I tried bf2042 recently and it was a nightmare.
Im not playing that much games anymore, but if I do I'd like to have atleast some performance. Budget < 800€ or is that too low?

Thanks in advance. :)

Current build:
CPU:
i7 7700K
MBD: Gigabyte Z170 K3
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 16GB Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 Dual
PSU: BeQuiet 500 Watts

Solution
My budget is ideally < 800€ , but can be expanded if needed. I'm using a 144hz 1920x1080 monitor and I'm living in Germany
Keep your current RAM. btw the difference between the H570 boards and the B560 boards is the amount of PCIe lanes. 20 for the H570 and 12 for the B560 resulting in better audio codec for the H570 boards due to more bandwidth. These boards with those cpu's and cooler will allow you to run them with the power limits turned off in the bios. It's a round a bout way of overclocking them.

Perf is bad for everyone.
Your system is dated, I would look to upgrade anyway. Maybe just not right now. Because of GPU situation. Hardest part to get would be GPU. The only thing you can keep from your listed hardware is RAM.
Motherboard is minimum 200 $
CPU 300 $
PSU 100-150 $
GPU 300 $ (Yeah right, in this day and age...more like 500 $)
900 $ minimum I'd say.

Thanks for your fast response. I kinda thought that the BF perf. for everyone is bad because it really was too bad to be true.

Could you name some components that are recommendable?

I didn't do that for a reason. Doesn't matter if you go AMD or Intel for CPU, Nvidia or AMD for GPU. What matters more is the pricebracket.
I would go for AMD and B550, simply because you are not locked out of overclocking, something I like. I have no clue if you do. X570 is almost never worth it.
With Intel, as soon as it is a Z-motherboard (Overclocking enabled), I hear you have to pay more for the mobo. For a low budget build, that never makes sense. For example a 11600k and a Z590 mobo. Not only that, Intel locks RAM speed behind class of CPU. AMD doesn't do that either. I consider that anti-consumer by Intel. You might not agree or care.
