Hello, right now I'm using the Edifier C2X 2.1 (https://www.edifier.com/int/en/speakers/c2xd-2.1-optical-input) as speaker.

When playing red dead redemption 2 I realized that sound quality is quite poor compared to the one provided by my HyperX Cloud Alpha. Mainly most of background sounds tend to disapper or be heavily reduced.

Since I prefer playing with speakers and mine are quite old I was considering to buy new ones. I'm still looking for a similar 2.1 system with a budget of 200/300€. The only requirement is that speakers should no be particulary big since I lack of space on the desk; instead for the subwoofer I have enough space.

Onestly I have no idea about any models to pick; the only one I've seen is the Logitech Z625 but I read that it's not so good.

Thanks in advance for the help

they are an old design, but they have not changed because they nailed it the first time.
I have the 4.1 version of these and they still sound awesome some 20 years later.
