RTX 40 series Super cards were just announced for the 17th, which is about a week and a half away. I'd recommend a 4070 Super for $600 if you'd like to just swap the GPU since the TDP is nearly identical, but if you're willing to go in and swap the power supply and do the cable related things that come along with it, I'd recommend the 4070 Ti Super for $800 and a 750w PSU.

Ah, good plans, thanks very much! I take it my case size is sufficient, don't to have to change that?

Correct. You may find that the card sags a bit once installed since the heatsink may be quite heavy, if it happens I’d recommend putting something below it to take some stress off the PCIE port. Could be a legit bracket that attaches to the case, a free stand, a wooden dowel from Home Depot, or a spare pencil…really doesn’t matter.
