In my rig I currently have a GTX650 Ti and a cheap Geforce 210 in my system with a 500W corsair PSU. The 210 is basically just to view videos on my TV as I have a 3 monitor setup on the 650. Since I have my TV connected to the 210 I cannot play games on it if I wanted to.
To resolve this I want to upgrade the 210 to a better card, preferably an upgrade in comparison to the 650. I was looking at possibly a 660 (or 760 from EVGA b-stock), or possibly a r9 270x. So the first question is which should I go for? Stick with nvidia or go with a better card in the 270x but face possible driver issues? Also regardless of which I go for do I need to upgrade my PSU?
FYI: My motherboard does not support SLI (only crossfire). I have a FX-8320 with 3 HDDs and an SSD with a DVDRW a 4 case fans. I am not hooking up my TV to the 650 cause it only has 1 hdmi port and that is being used on my main monitor and the TV only supports HDMI.
Thanks!
