Hey Everyone,

I am planning on upgrading my PC to handle 4K@144hz within the next 3 months; it'll be whenever the deals are good and parts are in stock. So if we're a little over budget now, I'm sure it'll work out later.
The most demanding titles I (will) play are Cyberpunk 2077, Apex Legends, and WoW: Shadowlands.
I am located in the USA and my budget is 2700 USD.
Any and all advice is welcome.

PC Part Picker Lists:
Current Build
Dream Build

Condensed List of Upgrades:
CPU: i7-7700K -> i9-10900K
Cooler: H115i -> NH-D15
Mobo: Asus Maximus IX Apex LGA1151 -> ASUS Prime Z490-A LGA1200
RAM: Adding 16GB of G.Skill Trident Z (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200
GPU: 1080 Ti -> 3080
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650 W -> Corsair RMx 850W
Monitor: Dell S2716DGR -> Acer Predator XB273K

Thank you for taking the time to help me out!

Edit: I play on a combination of ultra textures with low/off shadows, lighting, effects, etc. I'd say it's medium settings.

My current build has been 100% functional for 3 years. Not sure what's up with PCPP.

PSU for the new build is 850W.

Replace that Corsair RM 850W for a Corsair RM850X. It has better capacitors and it's almost the same price.

For the RAM I recommend you just buy a new 2x16GB RAM KIT. Mixing 2 different kit is not recommended.
Great suggestion for the PSU, thank you.

The 16GB RAM is the same model/specs as the existing 16GB.

That still doesn't mean the 2 sets of memory will work together. Might, might not, might with some adjusting.

Just because their the same model numbers don't even mean they were made with the same parts.
Same listing on Amazon that I previously used to purchase them. Do I need to order 4 sticks on the same day?
