[SOLVED] upgrading a 2016 pc to vr standards

my current build from 2016

Mobo Gigabyte Micro ATX DDR3 2133
Ram Patriot DDR3 8GB
Cpu AMD Athlon X4 860K
Gpu Radeon r7 370
Spending limit is 200. I'm fine with playing on medium setting in normal games but I want to play pcvr. I was just going to see if I can find a cheap gtx 1060 or 1070 would that be enough to let me play reliably?

Hard to judge.

I think a gpu upgrade would give you more performance, but that cpu is just way too slow.

and changing the cpu would involve a whole mobo update am I right? new cpu, means new mobo means new ram?

16GB ram, AMD ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x and upgrade GPU to at least a RX 570 4GB

IMO there isn't many VR games on the market right now really worth setting up for if your spending limit is $200.
