I bought this PC about 2 years ago and I upgraded my graphics card last saturday. I noticed that it's being bottlenecked from the CPU , so I decided to buy a new CPU but I don't know which would be the best for my PC and a bit cheap , unfortunately my socked is an old AM3 so I think I should upgrade the motherboard too , so what do you recommend?

My rig:

AMD Athlon II -250 X2 3.0 GHz

Motherboard AMD:
Biostar; NF520D3, AM3, nForce520;

Looks like the Phenom II X4 955 is the fastest the board will support(http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=462). However for how much these are going for(even used) I would suggest a new motherboard and CPU. If budget is tight you can get a decent upgrade for under $200
