upgrading a Dell T3600 / 3610 with GTX 1070?

Has anyone done it? I note Dell has some refurbished tower T3600 / T3610s floating around.

How many drives will the case hold?

The T3600 is the smaller of the Percision workstations. It only holds 2 3.5 inch drives (4 2.5 if you use dual drive brackets). It has plenty of SATA ports (I Think 6)

as far as the drive it will take 300 Watt video card. Not sure exactly of what kind of PCIe power connects it has. Other than that just the side of the Video card is your length

It is described as a tower case, but it sounds like a plan B is required. I suspect a GTX 1070 is fairly long, my current GTX 980 needed a new case although the dell web site suggests that it will take an 11 inch card the AMD W9000 with a max draw of 300 watts for the video card.
