upgrading a e7200 to a q9550 low budget

i bought a q9550 today , i have a core 2 duo e7200 what else besides thermal paste is critical for upgrade. i am very reluctant to mess with bios for any reason . i dont know what im doing.
any advice would be appreciated

Just remove the old one and carefully put the new one on, if your not sure, just look up a video that has people direct you on how to place an intel cpu, all intel cpus are the same these days, so any one will do as long as it doesn't have pins on the cpu. Have fun!
