upgrading a gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

so I have a GA-78LMT mobo with a FX6300 CPU. I get there are little options left for a CPU upgrade but what about a video card? Using the onboard video right now, Watch a lot of video but do not really play games. More business stuff. Any suggestions? Going to double the RAM to 16MB. Looking for overall performance boost.

Get a 1050ti.

Get a 1050 or a 1050 ti if you don't want to bottleneck to badly, depending on your power supply and budget you can get a higher end card but it will bottleneck

Yes a GT 1030 will work fine, (I actually forgot about that card), but if you do plan on Playing any games in the future spending the extra 20-40 dollars will be worth it, not that a gt 1030 cant game but a gtx 1050 will give you better preformance

I doubt he's much of a gamer with the HD 3000 era integrated graphics on the motherboard. 😉 Alternately he could get a RX 550 for $70 after rebate @ Newegg. Its a fair bit stronger than the GTX 1030 for the same price.
