Hi,
so I'll be selling my bicycle tomorrow and I will be getting 150 euros. I want to upgrade my gpu. My current one is AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series 1gb. As far as I know the best gpu's for this amount of money are R7 260x and GeForce GTX 750 Ti. Now, 750 Ti as far as I can see is not compatible with my motherboard (MSI 970A-G46) as I read a lot of threads online of people having trouble with their compatibility. Some people seem to fix it, some seem to surrender. I'm quite new to this, not the best pc guru in the world so I wouldnt like to have such a big challenge. There's a problem with R7 260x too that I found online. People are complaining that it overheats when playing video games like far cry 4.
I know there is no such thing as a superior gpu for such a price, but I'd like a gpu that would at least not overheat. My current one overheats on newer games quite easily too.
So could you suggest any other gpus in the 150euro price range that are better than these two?

PC specs:
NZXT H440 with 3 front 120mm, 1 back 140mm and 2 top 140mm fans
MSI 970A-G64 mobo
8 gb of ram
Corsair CX 600w psu
AMD fx 6100 six core with Cooler Master TX3 evo

So expensive same as where i live, thats why i order from Germany :D

Anyway under 150€ the best you can get is GTX 750TI which is better tha r7 260X, dont know where you read that its not compatible with your motherboard. It is compatible your motherboard has PCI-e x16 slot and so it compatible with every PCI-e card.

Or you can get r7 265 which beats GTX 750TI and costs 0.49€ over 150€

Note if you order from germany you can get r9 270 for 150.49€ (shipping including)...

Fortunately my budget has grown to 160 euros and I can aford the r7 265! I think I will settle with it because I really don't want to order from other countries because I don't feel safe enough since I'm so new to this.
Btw, the PCI-e slots are all it requires for the gpu be compatible with my mobo? I read on one forum, that it was a problem with bios since the newest update at the time was from 2013 and the 750 is newer than that and it had no software support from the mobo manufacturer.
Here's the link to it: http://forums.evga.com/MSI-970ag46-won39t-post-with-new-eVGA-750-GTX-TI-m2196865.aspx

But I can see that the most recent update is 2015 one so I shouldn't have any problems with r7 265, right? Just update bios, put everything in place, download drivers and I'm set?
