Upgrading a Lenovo H430

I'm looking at getting a new video card and PSU for my lenovo H430, and want to make sure that the upgrades I'm looking into will operate with my prebuilt lenovo.

The current specs of the H430 57311430 are as follows:

Intel Core i5-3330 3.0GHz
8GB DDR3 1333
TB SATA II 7200RPM
280W
Intel HD Graphics 2500

I was looking into upgrading the PSU to a 650W Corsair, and adding a XFX Radeon HD 7850.

After measuring, it seems that both parts should fit, though in my research I've heard some people mention that they had issues upgrading the psu on the i3 version of the h430, (such as needing to update their BIOS). I figured I should ask here in case I happen to be looking into hardware that may cause problems, as I am not very tech-savvy.

Since I originally bought this as a budget computer, I don't plan on adding any upgrades other than the ones mentioned here.

As long as the dimensions and form factor of the power supply match you should be good to go. BIOS update shouldn't figure into switching a power supply. They were probably talking about the video card compatibility.

Case looks like a small mid tower, so your 7850 should fit fine.

Thank you for your prompt response. In hindsight I should have kept track of the url of the threads on the issues I mentioned, but they seemed fairly unusual and circumstantial anyway.
