HI!
I currently have a Packard Bell I media s2185 pc. As it is nearing Christmas I am hoping to make some upgrades to enhance my gaming and graphics needa. I have found a new case that I am going to transfer the existing moBo into that fits. I am also going to upgrade the ram and possibly the cpu and purchase a new psu. However, I have heard that the motherboard could be custom and some of the connections could be custom and wouldn't work with the pc usbs etc. I was also planning on keeping the existing gfx card however the expansions slots on the new pc case, which Is a mid tower, are too big for my small gfx card. Is there a way around this and my other problems I may encounter?
( the pc is a family one, that's why it's packard bell)

That is a Small Form Factor motherboard which doesn't fit in a mid-tower. Not much is upgradable on those models. I media s2185 processors are soldered on the motherboard, as such, upgrading or replacing them is very very difficult.

Picture of motherboard shows only a 24-pin connection with no standard 4-pin CPU connection.

I suggest buying a retail boxed ATX or Micro-ATX size motherboard for your mid-tower case.
