Question Upgrading advice 2022???

Hello my fellow Pc enthusiasts
I have a the below rig and i want to upgrade as i have few bucks laying around saved for that purpose what do you suggest would be my next upgrade.
My main Use is gaming @ 1440p 240hz
Also animating on Autodesk Maya "my job as 3D animator"
Rarely rendering not frequently

My Pc ..
Case : XPG invader mid tower
Motherboard : Msi B550 tomahawk
Cpu : ryzen 9 3900xt @stock speeds
Cooler : Noctua NH-U14S
Gpu: nvidia RTX 3080 10GB Aorus Master ver. 3
Monitor : Samsung odyssey G7 27 inch 240hz 1440p
Memory:Team force DDR4 32 GB 3200mhz 2x16
Psu : seasonic 850watt gold
HDD : seagate barracuda 4TB
SSD : addlink S70 512 gb M.2 nvme R/3400MBs W/2000MBs
2nd SSD : WD_BLACK SN750 SE 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe Gaming SSD, with up to 3,600MB/s read speed
I was thinking about getting the 5950x but some Told me no it's not worth it however I saw bunch of reviews indicating otherwise so can you help me decide which is my next upgrade.

I would say that a 5900x would be a solid upgrade. The IPC uplift is pretty substantial, as is the clock speed. Autodesk Maya typically only uses a single core, so a 5950x is kind of a waste. You already are using a 3900xt, so I wouldn't go down in core count, with say a 5800x.

If not of course buy new. Wouldn’t be surprised if your old cpu went for 200.

Money is not an issue i just wanted best suggestion for an upgrade , thanks man
