Upgrading advice - CPU/Mobo

Hey guys!

Recently bought the MSI GTX 970 and due to my CPU now overheating and the heatsink i bought for it doesnt fit my motherboard, I now need a new motherboard, CPU and case. The only thing I do on my pc is play high end games and on highest settings possible and surf.

What I chose so far:

MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Socket 1150 VGA DVI HDMI 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Cooler Master N-Series N600 - USB 3.0 ATX Case
Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5GHz Socket 1150 6MB L3 Processor

All of this from ebuyer totals £341.

I need help/advice on what is actually best for me around the £350 budget and where to get it at the best price possible.

Are you going to change whole system just because of CPU cooler ? What do you have now to upgrade from ?

I realize this is an old post but....
Sorry, think i missed something,
when you say it doesn't fit your motherboard what exactly do you mean? Is it hitting the RAM? A heat sink? because there may be simpler solutions
Also, what are your current specs
