Upgrading AMD A8-5545M APU

I have a HP Beats Special Edition Laptop and I was wondering if I could upgrade the CPU which is an A8-5545M APU. Could I upgrade it to an A10? The socket is BGA827 (FP2)

Nope, like most Laptops, upgrading cpu is impossible becuase it's soldiered to the board.

BGA is a soldered socket. The chip is soldered in place an is almost impossible to remove, and if it is, is impossible to replace, so that answer is NO!. Sorry for the bad news.

That's kinda what I figured so I didn't get my hopes up. Was mostly looking to do it for fun anyway. One can dream, can't they?

You cannot upgrade the APU, it is soldered into the motherboard. Most laptops nowadays have APUs / CPUs that are soldered into the motherboard.

well just so you know the memory will accept the16GBx2 of PC3L 14900 at 1866mhz, I have a HP Beats Special Edition 15-P099nr. But my question for you is even if you can't upgrade the APU A8-5545M is there another complete motherboard that will fit in place of the other with better than that is equiped with chip set and higher end APU ? fill us in on this ASAP Please
