hello im looking to upgrade my proccesor i have currently a AMD Athlon 64 x2 5000+ i want to upgrade it whats the best processor for gaming and low price my socket is (AM2+) and my mobo is M2N68-LA (Narra2) whats the best processor to get ? ( https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c01357135 )

HP's page on that board says that the best CPU supported is the Phenom X4 9600 (95 Watts), which is an extremely old processor that came out a decade ago and isn't really good for playing modern games. It might help to know which games you want to play but you are probably best off just saving up for an entirely new system at this point, there is no CPU that would work with your motherboard that is really worthwhile if you're trying to play anything modern.

If you are serious about gaming, you should ditch that ancient PC and upgrade to Ryzen. Nothing you can put in an AM2 socket will come anywhere close to modern CPUs.
