So back in 2012 when I was a little PC noob, I decided to get an Alienware Aurora. It has served me well and I am very happy with it, but now I am going off to college and it is time to upgrade some things.
Here are its current specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz 41 °C
Sandy Bridge-E 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Alienware 07JNH0 (CPU 1) 58 °C
Graphics
HP w2207 (1680x1050@59Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (NVIDIA) 38 °C
Storage
465GB Seagate ST500LX0 03-1AC15G SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 35 °C
931GB Seagate ST1000DM 003-1CH162 SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 34 °C
Optical Drives
PLDS DVD+-RW DH-24ACS SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

My main concern is heat, then performance. What should I prioritize in my upgrade. I have already ordered a GTX 1070.
Thanks guys!
