I am currently using a Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 motherboard with an e6600, 4Gb of Corsair (2 sticks of PC6400) and Vista 32. I recently updated from F4 BIOS to F5 and noticed that Gigabyte updated the BIOS to F6 as well as the drivers for the Chipset, LAN and SATA RAID.
My question is...should I bother to update the above to the newer version even though I am not having any issues? Most of the issues I am probably having seem to be coming from Vista...not the motherboard. Is there any harm in updating the drivers...or the BIOS other than screwing it up
I generally will upgrade to the newer drivers but wanted to know what others are doing.
Thanks for your input,
Tim
