I already fried one of my motherboards trying to do this! But I have tried again! A long time ago I contacted ECS about my bios, it was all fine until they never responded! So pretty much on the bottom of the website for my A960M-MV it mentions ECS GUI UEFI BIOS which never appeared as my bios is just American Megatrends Aptio. Is there a way to get this BIOS on my motherboard to look like what they advertise at the bottom? Link to website (go to bottom):

If the BIOS chip is not soldered on, you may be able to buy a new chip with the UEFI BIOS. There may be other differences between the
A960M-MV V1.0 and the A960M-MV V1.0A. I can see very minor differences in the pictures that I found, but that isn't enough to determine if they can use the same BIOS or not. Is A960M-MV V:1.0 printed on your motherboard?

I know I have the non A version, I cant check my motherboard because either my cpu cooler or my gpu is blocking it! But on my Amazon purchase history I see the non A version. So I dont know if its printed, I also kept my box still no A.

I probably wont try, but I like the GUI better, because of the looks, and other stuff
