Upgrading cards 1070

Hi guys,

I currently have 2 680 and would like to upgrade it to a single GPU gtx 1070 is it worth the upgrade? would the performance be worth the upgrade? i currently run a 4k monitor with g sync

Solution
I'd say it's a pretty decent upgrade. Your two 680's are roughly equivalent to one 980, the 1070 is ~30% faster on average in comparison to a 980, assuming your CPU wouldn't limit it. Just don't expect to be getting good 4k performance with settings cranked up in games with a single 1070, you'd need atleast a 1080.
