Greetings!

I've got a few questions regarding my current system. To understand my requests you might want to hear the purposes which I wish to fullfill with it, and a problem I've encountered.

- I currently am unable to play BF3 for longer than 15 minutes (this could be due to overheating), and when playing I can't play at the settings I wish to play at (medium at most, for a smooth experience). I wish to up this to high, and/or a good amount of frames per second.

- I also am unable to watch 1080p60fps clips on youtube, which, on a 1920x1080 resolution, is something I'd really like to see happen.

- I've previously had some trouble with my Intel Core's cooling, yet have been able to resolve this to almost normal. I still am in doubt if, because of the passive cooling and overall airflow in my case, I might have an 'unfriendly' enviroment for my hardware in terms of temperature. Although to me, the temperature does not feel hight or extreme.

-Will upgrading my HD5770 to an active cooling HD6870 resolve any, if not all, of these issues?

- I would love to keep the cost for a solution as low as possible ( at least under 100 euro's or 112 dollars), please keep this in mind :)

Specifications:
Motherboard: Gigabyte H55M-UD2H s1156
Processor: Intel Core I3-530 Core i3
RAM: 2x Apacer DIMM DDR3 1333Mhz 2GB
RAM: 2x Adata DDR3 1333Mhz 4GB
Videocard: Ati Radeon HD5770 1Gb Silten (non active cooling!)
Hard drive: Samsung 103SJ 1 TB
Power supply : Gigabyte GZ-M2/X1/HKC 7060 (?)
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster XL2270HD

If you have any suggestions, hardware upgrade tips, or anything else that might help me on my quest to quality 1080p 'streamage' and smooth BF3'ing, I do really wish you'd share!

In advance, thank you very much for reading. I hope you will be able to help! I appreciate the read!

Greetings,

GPU temperature is about 54 to 56 degrees Celsius, using MSI. As for the power supply, I've just noticed that it says: Gigabyte GZ-M2/X1/HKC 7060 including power supply on my receipt. So i'm assuming this isn't the actual power supply. Any idea how I might find out which model/brand it is, and what kind of power it generates?

I dont get That power suppy? cant find anything on google... For 6870 you need 2x 6 pin 500W supply at least. and you can see here http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=452&gid2=322&compare=radeon-hd-6870-vs-radeon-hd-5770-1024mb that 6870 is 54% stronger then you 5770 so upgrade will be good. Now u need 500W power supply with 6x2 pins for, 6870 150 Power in idle and 300 in Full load. For the heat you can download http://www.iobit.com/en/advancedsystemcarefree.php In this program ( download free version ) u have monitor Cpu/Gpu Mainboard in celsius or fahrenheit here is the picture http://betanews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/PerformanceMonitor-232x300.png. Try to get SSD for the speed of Boot windows ( mine tips ) Ram is 6 gb or 4? if u have 4 upgrade to 8...

I've just posted the correct PSU information I think. As for the heat, I'm not sure if I wish to download that program. I've got 12 Gb's of ram, 2x2 + 2x4.

Or new I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016 and it's very good Quiet and good quality with custom cable management. U can find 6870Hd for 50-60 Euros. - Any PSU suggestions? And is the card compatible with the currents system I have, or is there a chance the rest of the system creates a bottleneck, and/or the card doesn't fit?

- And do you think there's perhaps another option than the HD 6870 & 550W PSU combination? I'd like to hear any suggestion. Also, thank you very much for the elaboration on your part on HD6870 solution.
