Hey all,i'm going to be starting my upgrade today and have a question.After i replace the mb,cpu,graphic card,memory,will i need to reformat and reinstall vista on my hard drive that i am going to carry over?I hear so much about how vista collects info from your computer to tie it to your specific computer.
XP was always easy,just call and say i upgraded,they said ok and bam reactivated.Guess not so much from Vista from what i am hearing.I just have the home basic i bought from walmart,not the builder versions that come with new computers.
What hoops am i gonna have to jump through to get it reactivated if i have to reinstall?
