Upgrading computer with better processor

I have a Dell 545s intel core 2 duo E7400 2.8ghz my computer shop suggested an amd fx6200 or which processor i choose and others have suggested intel i5-3470 and amd fx 8350 with new motherboard i want to stream in 1080p my computer can't handle 1920x1080 only 720p 1280x720 the i5-3470 and Radeon HD 7750 graphics card was suggested. will i be able to stream in 1080p without maxing out cpu usage right now with my current my cpu usage is %50-80% are the processors good for cpu usage to be low? i've been told on xsplit i need a processor with 10,000 passmark or more but i've seen people with a 9,000 passmark stream in 1080p with anime and games then i saw this guide https://v1.xsplit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13243 i've been told to go with the i5-3470 what makes it better than the fx-8530?

The i5 is better for pure gaming, if you are planning on playing CPU intensive games, or doing multiple things at once go with the 8350. Since you are planning to stream the 8350 might be the better choice, as amd offers more cores, and more performance per dollar. The 7750 is barely considered gaming so I would recommend putting more to a Graphics card. Such as the 7850 or higher.

i will be streaming anime more than gaming but need a computer that can stream in 1080p with xsplit

In that case the 8350 would probably be better as streaming is cpu intensive. A 7750 is also a lower end card, as I have one. If you have the money look into a better card, if not that will do fine.

with the 7750 would it affect streaming in 1080p?

for the upgrade for a good processor i've been told i need new motherboard, change from L2 to L3 cache and DDR2 to DDR3, good graphics card and a new case and power supply.

Yeah pretty much, so you are looking at building one from the ground up. I had to do that with my old pc, I decided to upgrade and ended up building my own.

does anyone on here use xsplit? they told me the higher the passmark the better to cast in 1080p

the shop was going to charge $600 for everything else with the fx6200 but since now i'm getting the 8350 i will need to see how much it will be now because i'm not getting the 32gb of ram but will probably get 16gb so will get the space added if i decide to add more ram up to 16gb in the future also 2tb of harddrive my computer has a extra space for one

The 8350 SHOULD be about 100 more, with half the ram it will actually probably be cheaper in total. 16 gigs are good as well.
