Upgrading CPU and Motherboard

Current specs are:
AMD A10-7800
NVIDIA GTX 960 2gb
Some asus motherboard.

I was wondering if upgrading my CPU to an Intel Xeon X5650 would improve gaming/overall performance? Motherboard/RAM will be replaced as well.
