Hello
This PC is 11 years old :3
I wanted to upgrade my Pentium 4 516 to a Pentium D 945, my pc came with a stock cooler pre-applied paste I guess, I'm not sure whether thermal pad or a paste. (i'm a beginner in those stuff...)
Well now coming back, I remove the old cpu, and put on the Pentium D, do I need to apply the thermal paste, or just put on the heat sink and put all the screws back and boot it up.
And by the way one more question, if I pull out my ram its 2 gb (don't know ddr2 or ddr3) , like I want to see the other ram stick my friend gave me to see if its 2 gb/ 1 gb, etc. Will it affect my pc like make it crash or something or does it harm my pc in anyway.
Thanks in advance.
