Question Upgrading CPU and RAM won’t post

Upgrading PC now won’t post.

I’ve done some slight Black Friday upgrades to my PC tonight and now it isn’t posting.

it’s probably the CPUand but I have a question
Every fan turns on and the HDD makes noise.

OLD parts

Ryzen 3 2200g
rx 570
evga 550w
4gbX2 ram g’skill.
ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4


Swapped
T-FORCE 2x16gb
Tyzen 7 5700x

swapping ram has changed nothing.

MOBO has no error ks or speaker.
only thing I haven’t done is pull the CPU again, doing soon

When you swap back to old cpu, if it post, see if your mobo needs bios update.

So far.
Removing the CPU has now down nothing, I only fear I got the slot dirty in some way, how can I be sure it’s all clear?
Is everything else starting the right behavior for a cpu not working?

Just to confirm, By removing, you mean you put the old cpu (and cooler) back on, right?

my mistake, I put a single stick of the old ram with the old cpu and it finally posted.

updating the bios now, it was not compatible with the current version.
New ram wasn’t sitting in slot well might have been the problem there

and edit: was far too much paste in the old cpu, why I thought it might have gotten dirty

How many drives do you have. Check your boot config in bios to see what drive its booting from, make sure this is correct.
