Upgrading CPU-GPU on an AMD A55 - MSI A55M-P33

I have a friend who has THIS motherboard and wants to know first if he can put on another graphics card, and if he can, what is the biggest he can get?

Looks like it has a few expansions slots but not being a guru I am not sure.

Can he upgrade the CPU as well? Currently an AMD A4-3300 Llano Dual-Core.

He has a 480w Logisys PSU so that may limit him a bit.

Follow Up - NewEgg doesn't list FM1 as a socket type you can buy for...AM1, FM2, and FM2+

will this be an issue?

the MB has a pci-e x16 2.0 slot
perhaps an nvidia 750 or 750ti

Your friend could get an AMD Athlon II x4 651k in the FM1 socket, which would be a definite upgrade, but you might only find new old stock out on eBay. Stick with a seller with a good rep and he should be ok though.
