Question Upgrading CPU, Need Help Please.

Looking to upgrade my PC. Doing 3D modeling, Unreal 4, and gaming. Looking to get some nice upgrades this cyber Monday! Please help with what would be good upgrades for around $300 - $600. Pretty sure CPU will be my main issue.

You'll have to change motherboard, CPU and RAM. My advice : a Ryzen 2700X with 2x8Gb of DDR4 3200 RAM on an ASRock B450 motherboard. Good in games, better in 3D rendering. If you can stretch it, get a 1Tb M.2 SSD in there too.

that's propably very good balance with 1080.
if you cannot find that cpu 2600/2600X will do just fine, 3600 would be lovely, but I doubt anyone will share solid discount on fresh item.
Only thing I would suggest is the 2x8 ram changed for 2x16 GB as for 3D stuff, ram is life.

if you want to stay in budget, go 2x8 - otherwise yes, 2x16 is not too bad. Compromise : get 2x8 and a motherboard with 4 RAM slots, and expand if it's not enough.
