I have Playstation 5 and PC

My PC spec : 2017 Rig

Ryzen7 1700
Wraith Spire
Msi B350 Tomahawk
Gskill TridentZ 3200mhz 16gb(8*2)
Msi RX 480 Armor 8GB OC
Capture card elgato 4K60 Pro mk.2
WD Black 1tb 7200rpm
Samsung SSD EVO 850 240gb
ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Corsair RM 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Gigabyte ‎M28U 28.0" 3840x2160 144 Hz Monitor
LG 22MP68 22" Full HD IPS SLIM LED MONITOR (1920x1080)
win10 pro 64bit

I play fornite in ps5 and use this pc for streaming. I want to make this PC as dedicated PC for streaming. streaming at 1080p 60fps to youtube

In OBS studio the presets (speed) and profile (baseline) only accepted by RX 480, which quality is so bad in youtube.
And
for cpu preset (very faster) and profile (baseline) only accepted by RX7 1700, which quality is also bad, but 3% better than RX 480
If I increase the quality on both, it starts lagging in youtube.

So what should I upgrade, CPU or GPU, I think for streaming any one is enough, Is that right.
My options 5800x 3d or 6700xt, rtx3060

Is that possible that we can use quality preset for GPU or placebo preset for CPU with above options ?

Solution
Unless your budget supports upgrading your PSU as well, then the 3080ti and 6900XT are not going to work. Your 1st gen Ryzen would hold them back significantly as well.

I would not stuff a 5XXX series Ryzen into that 1st gen motherboard either.

Either the 3060 or 6700XT meet your needs. Personally, I would go with the 6700XT.

There is no definitive "better" with these choices. One will do better than the other in various circumstances/tests.
