So I wanna upgrade my CPU from a i5-6400 to an i7-6700.. They're both Skylake processors and uses the exact same TDP at 65W.. So what else would I need to take into account? Cause my motherboard is not described anywhere on the Internet.
It will work. TPD doesn't really matter besides CPU cooler compatibility and wattage for PSU compatibility. You can also use an i7 7700, as long as you update the motherboard BIOS with the existing Skylake CPU.
What exact motherboard do you have? You can enter this into Command Prompt (if on Windows) if unsure: wmic baseboard get Manufacturer,Name,Product
Should list your motherboard anyway, but it will work, both use the same socket, I wouldn't go with a 7700, if you can't find your motherboard on the net.

Lenovo 364A is the Motherboard, except I can't find it anywhere.
But if I don't need to update the BIOS for a CPU upgrade that uses the same "Skylake" I will just go ahead and get it.
