I know there have been quite a few topics on this already, but it's where people already post what they have and I need a straight answer.

When should you upgrade your CPU as compared to your GPU? What are the factors that determine you need a better CPU or GPU? Would I even need more RAM?

Right now I'm tight on money and only have funds to afford one. The games that are coming out are starting to be too much for my machine.

Thanks.

Well if you could post the specs it would help us, if you have 4 GB of RAM then that is all set, a CPU above a dual core 3.0 GHz if enough although a quad is much more capable in the future so with the GPU left it is probably the limiting factor. We can help you more when we have the specs of your PC.
