Question Upgrading CPU

Hello everyone. I am looking to upgrade my CPU. Currently I have an I5-6400 CPU and a Z170A-Pc mate motherboard.

I want to upgrade my CPU to a I5-6600K - would that fit into my motherboard, and is it an ideal upgrade for me?

Would it work? Yes

Is it worth it? No. Its just a faster quad core/thread cpu. If it wasn't for the fact they are overpriced I'd say go with an i7 6700/6700k/7700/7700k. Bare in mind these are outperformed by modern i5's.
