So, I Got This Little Brother Who Love To Play Games,

His PC Was Old And Consisting Of Parts Like Core 2 Duo E6750 (2.66 Ghz), Intel Motherboard (DG31PR), 9400 GT 1 GB, 2 Gb DDR 2 Ram, 400W Not So Good PSU

As U Can See His PC Is Pretty Outdated And Yet He Used To Play All Games @ Full Res With Almost Maxed Out Settings (AA Turned Off)

He Is Happy If He Runs The Game Above 20 FPS

His Monitor Res Is 1440 x 900

The Only Games He Was Unable To Play Were Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, Metro, And Some Very New And GPU Intensive Games

He Bought That PC About 8 Years Ago And Have Been Playing On It Ever Since Then

Now His PC Died Recently And I Offered Him Buy A New One

The Parts I Picked Are

CPU - FX 6300 - 7000 Rupees - 113$
Cooler - Hyper 212 Evo (Already Have)
Mother Board - Asus M5A97 R2.0 - 7000 Rupees - 113$ (Cant Go 990 FX Series Costs 178$)
Ram - Coasir 8 GB DDR 3 - 6000 Rupees - 96$
GPU - Asus GTX 650 Ti - 10,000 Rupees - 162$
Case - NZXT Guardian 921 RB - 5000 Rupees - 80$ (Non Negotiable Lol He Loves It)

As U Can See The Prices Are 40% ~ 60% More Where I Live .. 7770, 7750, 650Ti Costs The Same So I Picked The 650 Ti (Unless I Can Find A 7770 For Less Than 7000 Rupees 113$ Where I Live)

Well The Real Problem Comes With His PSU

Should I Buy Him A Cosair 750W PSU For 7200 Rupees 117$ Or A 500W For 3000 Rupees 50$ Or A 600W For 4500 Rupees 78$

Since Am Tight On Budget And I Expect This Pc To Last Atleast Half A Decade With Him. Should I Go For A 750W PSU So That He Can Upgrade Later After 5 Years Without Needing A New PSU If The PSU Lasts That Long Or Should I Just Buy A 500w PSU (Or 600W) Cause He Is Literally Not Gonna Upgrade Anything For 5 Years. PS Am Really On Tight Budget And That's Almost My 3 Months Salary Right There Already.

I Dunno How Long A PSU Will Last So Yea, Help Me Out

Gonna Overclock GPU And CPU Moderately

His Other Components Are WD Clavier Black 1 TB, WD Clavier Green 3 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD, LG DVD/CD Drive

Also How Much Can I OC That FX 6300 On That Board With Hyper 212 Evo, Consider I Live In A Moderately Hot Place Where Room Temperatures Spike Up To 40c And Maybe Above 40c In The Summer Lol

And I Dont Mind Going Above 85c On The CPU Temperature, And I Know That The 990 FX Series Boards Are The Best For Overclocking But They Are Out Of Budget

Ty For Reading The Long Post

I wouldn't go for a CX series PSU - corsair cheaped out on the caps, so they won't last long. For that build, look for something 500W+ from the second link in my sig.

Also, I'd see if you could grab a 750Ti. Faster card with less power consumption.

Well 650 Ti Is Like 150$ ~ 165$ While 750 Ti Is Over 210$ :v

So That's A No Go

So U Think A 500W PSU Will Be Sufficient ?

How Long Does PSU's Lasts Usually ... 7+ Years Maybe ?

Considering The Next Gen CPU's And GPU's Are Optimized To Consume Less Power So 600W Will Be Good Is my Guess

But Just How Long Will They Last Is The Question ... Average Life Time

Tyvm For Ur Valuable Input

Eh One Q Still Remains ..

How Much Can I OC The FX 6300 On That Board Using Hyper 212 Evo

I'd Be Happy If I Can Hit 4.2Ghz ... U Think I Can Hit 4.5 ??

How About The Performance Increase

Since He Plays Mostly Offline Games Other Than Occasional A.V.A And WOT
