Hello! I am new to pc hardware things so I am getting confuse with all the information I found on the internet. It'll be glad if I can get some help here
I want to add a Samsung 960 EVO SSD to my XPS 8700 but I found that the motherboard do not support it so I plan to changing it to ASUS B150M-A/M.2, but I am not really sure if it is suitable.
So, I had a few question about it:
1. Can the Asus motherboard fit it the XPS casing?
2. Are the Asus motherboard Wi-Fi ready or I can move the Wi-Fi adapter from XPS to it, or I need to buy a new Wi-Fi adapter for it?
3. If I install a new Windows on the new SSD, what will happen to the old windows on the HDD, do I need to uninstall it?
Also, is there any other suggestion for motherboard in the similar price range?
Thank you!
