Hello All.

So I recently bought and downloaded black desert online after doing some research and loving the look of the game, however.. the game ran like a potato on my pc, im talking 10-20 FPS. Not playable at all. I currently have a EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card which I am thinking is the main problem, as my other components are 4gb of high quality ram and a 2600k i7 at 3.4 ghz, if either of these is likely to also be an issue feel free to comment. Basically I am on a bit of a budget and I am going to order a MSI 960 GTX 4gb armor edition. I just wanted to get some input on this card and its ability to run games such as black desert online at a decent framerate. Thanks in advance!

think the gtx650 should run it ok--obviously a gtx960 will run it better

but from what i can find this is what they recommend

CPU: Intel Core i5-650 3.2GHz
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 6 GB
OS: 64 bit Windows 7 or 8
Video Card: GeForce GTX 650 / GTX 550ti / Radeon HD7770

and this is minimum

CPU: Intel Core i3-530 2.9GHz
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 4 GB
OS: 32 bit Windows 7 or 8
Video Card: GeForce GTS 250 / GeForce 9800 GTX / Radeon HD 6770

Did not mean to vote your solution down, I was trying to reply. Thanks for the response. Yeah my 650 will not run it at all, the card only has 1gb of VRAM maybe that is the issue? the 960 has 4gb of VRAM.
I have never overclocked my CPU as its not something I have ever really looked into, I assumed it was a complex process and I wouldnt want to risk causing damage to my system.

Thanks again for the quick reply, I will have a play around with my settings and see if I can get the game running before I order a new card. Also thanks for bringing up overclocking, I did a bit of googling, didn't realize my CPU was so good for being overclocked and how easy it was to do. Thanks again
