I need an upgrade for my christmas, new christmas, new pc. I might also buy a valve index with these upgrades because I am going to get back into VR gaming. I might also buy a watercooler for my CPU, Suggest any upgrade really. If you suggest a CPU upgrade and its still LGA1151, Im probably going to buy this watercooler: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086BYYFG5/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 . Suggest any upgrade you think, even upgrade all of the parts if you want. I will put my budget somewhere around $1000. Try not to go too overboard, Also, for the graphics card, I already decided I am going to try and get a rtx 3070.

Anyways, heres my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FsZMF8

Thank you!!

bassically all i've done is replaced the CPU for the 5600X which will give you a big boost in performance.Along that comes the B550 motherboard.I didnt want to replace the ram but 2400MHz is really slow for ryzen. You did say you were buying a 3070,so there goes 500$.So by my logic and maths you have about 500$ to spend on upgrades.Try to sell your i7 7700,H110 motherboard and ram as a combo for around 200$ and you can use that money to buy a AIO cooler.A hyper 212 evo or even the stock ryzen cooler will do the job for a stock 5600X.After you get the water cooler you can overclock it.

Wont I need a new Power supply if I do those upgrades?, if so , should I get a 750?
