Hi! So my computer is pretty good for what I've been wanting, but I feel like my combination of CPU and GPU isn't really working. I've found that I have been lagging a bit more than my friends on certain games just because they have a better CPU. I was just wondering what I could upgrade and for cheap because I just built this computer this summer and I'm not looking to buy a whole new computer again! My specs are:

- AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
- Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 4GB Dual-X Video Card
- Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

I am kind of upset that my mother board isn't like almost any other ones so I would have to upgrade it if I wanted to change the brand or type of CPU. It only supports Socket FM2+ supports AMD FM2+/FM2 A-series APU. I'm just looking for something that will allow me to play games even better now and still be able to handle some of the upcoming games. I am willing to spend a COUPLE hundred dollars. Don't want to break bank but I would like to increase performance. Keep in mind that I am only 15 so I don't have a job.

Cheapest thing to do is to buy a good aftermarket CPU cooler for 40 dollars, pounds or euros and overclock your CPU. That should give you a performance increase you can feel. Only then would I consider an upgrade and even then, it would be a GPU upgrade. A CPU upgrade will not get you much without a GPU upgrade too.

I did buy a good aftermarket cooler but... my RAM was too big so either I can take an 8 gig stick out and put it in or I can't have a cpu cooler.
