[SOLVED] Upgrading from 1080ti to 3080

Hey, I have a buyer lined up for my 1080ti at a decent price, but that will leave me without a GPU until I can get a hold on a 3080. I heard that when the 3070 is released there will also be restock on 3080s, but I do not know how accurate that is or what quantity to be expecting. Do you think I will be able to pick up a 3080, or will they just end up getting scalped again?

Restocking is happening daily already, it’s just a trickle of supply and huge demand. 3080’s go in and out of stock already. The 3070 might relieve some pressure off the 3080 demand but I wouldn’t expect by much.

Yeah after reading that looks like I'll either be waiting a while or spending a lot of time searching. Either way feel like it was time to get rid of the 1080ti. Have a feeling that the 3070 and new amd cards are going to destroy resale value.
