Maybe my biggest mistake is that APU isn't cutting. I just built this PC about 1 month ago. I was very satisfied with my PC, but BeamNG Drive hitting me harder. BeamNG Drives each car gets its own seperate core. I want to upgrading from 2400G APU to better CPU and GPU for $300.
I thinking about Ryzen 7 2700 and RX 580 8 GB. Or is there better than my idea.

@Josh B You'd be pushing that PSU to it's limit with a RX580. You would have very little overhead.

Maybe something like a GTX 1660, a better card than the RX580 anyway.

That would put less strain on your PSU.
Ryzen 5 2600 would do just fine for your needs over the 2700, unless the cost isn't much different.

That cpu is still 4 cores 8 threads. The biggest thing on that cpu holding you back is the integrated graphics. I would suggest start out with a good power supply and maybe something like a 1660 super or something along those lines and see where you end up. Your little 2400g, especially with an overclock, might surprise you.

Would depend partly on what gpu you select. It looks like for the 1660ti a 450 watt is the minimum. That's if you're not overclocking or anything like that. Personally I like to have a little extra headroom. Plus, as power supplies get older, they will age and may not always be able to put out the same amount of power as they can now.
