upgrading from 250 to 500gb SSD

Currently using the 250gb SSD as boot drive and lacking space soon. Anyone can advise how should I transfer the windows and files to the new ssd?

Use a free clone utility if your new drive is Samsung or intel.

I just did the same, and I am keeping the 250gb drive as a backup .

Use clonezilla.
Does not depend on OS or drive (Just capacity)
