Upgrading from 4gb to 8gb.

Hello,

RAM is the least I know about of all PC components, but I know it's bad to mix different kinds of RAM.

Currently, I have Patriot Sector 5 PVV34G1600LLKB 4gb (2 x 2gb) in my BIOSTAR TP67B+. I want to upgrade to 8gb, and I know I have the slots to do so. However, I want to spend my money at Best Buy because I have a giftcard there and honestly don't need anything else right now.

Here's Best Buy's Patriot RAM:

They have sector 5 series Patriot RAM, but the 4gb models they have do not match the part number of my current RAM. IS there any RAM here that I could safely mix with mine to upgrade to 4gb? It doesn't really matter to me if it's 2x2 or 1 x 4gb. Thank you.

Put Patriot RAM at 1600 , and the same latency. They don't must be Sector 5 , you can put another name ( gamer,signature,viper).The important thing is the frequency, identical with what you have in your pc.

I'm guessing the 1600 is frequency. How do I check that the latency is identical?
