Upgrading from a 1060 to a 1080 is my processor gonna bottleneck

Im selling my asus gtx 1060 and buying a 1080. Mostly because of destiny 2. My cpu is an intel 6700k 3.5ghz and i have custom cooling on it. Do i need to upgrade my cpu too.

Not really. I would just do a simple OC to 4GHz by just using a bit higher multiplier. That way you probably can leave it at stock voltage and won't have to worry about your bus and XMP RAM settings changing.
