I'm in the process of upgrading a ASUS TUF 505 DU and wanted to upgrade the original 256GB m.2 NVME with a Samsung 860 EVO m.2 SATA SSD? According to crucial I should be able to do this. But when I try to clone the original 256GB SSD Data back to the newly installed 500GB SSD from the 1TB Storage SATA SSD. (This is how I usually upgrade primary SSDs) by copying the data over to the 2nd drive and the swapping out the main drive and cloning it back to the new drive.

Anyway... When I go to reboot I get a type of BSOD Error message about the boot drive not being functional. Is there a way around this loop or another way to clone my m.2 NVME to the m.2 SATA? maybe via USB? Oh and BTW... I did select the 2nd drive as the primary drive in the boot order. But it still won't boot.
