Upgrading from a 780

I'm trying to find a decent upgrade for a decent price.

The lowest card I'm looking at is a 970, but to my knowledge the 970 and 780 are nearly identical in performance and specs. So that would leave 980, 980 Ti, and 1060.

Which one would be the best?

(I'm looking to play games in higher than 60fps in 1080p, specifically GTA V, Dying Light, and Insurgency. My personal aim would be like 90fps for those more demanding games.)

If the 1070 is out of your price range, then the 980ti is the fastest of those you listed. The 980 is next and the 1060 is just a little below the 980, but they are almost equal in performance.
